Optical Properties
We offer a small selection of methods for determining the optical properties of thin films and bulk samples.
The transmission properties (%T and Abs) of solids and liquid samples can be determined using our Varian Cary 5 spectrophotometer in the UV-VIS-NIR range (175 nm–3300 nm).
The SENTECH SENpro allows determination of refractive indices of thin-film systems and, to a limited extent, also the reactivity in the UV-VIS range (370 nm–1050 nm).
The first-order red compensator of our optical microscope enables the measurement of the orientation of the fast and slow axes of optically anisotropic materials in the VIS range.
